Who You Are 

A strategic thinker with 15+ years of P&C insurance consulting experience. You’ve good experience advising clients on consultatively building their business case, technology strategy, blueprinting and roadmaps. You possess deep expertise across the P&C value chain (Sales, Distribution, Underwriting, etc.) and the P&C tech ecosystem (core systems, platforms/solutions (guidewire, duckcreek, Insurity), analytics, etc.). You excel at collaborating with clients to define their vision, strategy, ideate solutions, and deliver impactful results.

What You'll Do 

• Lead client engagements, understanding their P&C challenges and aspirations.
• Consultatively build business case capturing the business drivers and outcomes
• Partner with clients to blueprint solutions, roadmap digital transformation strategies leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Deliver impactful workshops and presentations, clearly communicating recommendations.
• Manage cross-functional teams (tech, operations) to ensure successful implementation.
• Contribute thought leadership (whitepapers, blogs) showcasing your P&C expertise.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in Business, Insurance, CS, or a related field.
• 15+ years of P&C insurance consulting experience (Big4 and/or Global SIs) with a proven track record of delivering successful transformations.
• Deep understanding of P&C insurance and the P&C tech ecosystem.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Experienced Data Scientist with in-depth understanding of AI and machine learning technologies.

We are looking for a Data Scientist that has statistical methodology expertise and programing skills such as SQL, Python, R, and SAS.
 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, Develop and Deploy  advanced machine learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithms/predictive  models.
• Assess, clean, merge, and analyze large datasets adhering to standardized data manipulation techniques and  methodology by leveraging SQL, R, SAS, Python and/or Databricks Spark.
• Perform parallel processing  computations within Python/R/SAS environment as well as cluster computing  technologies such as Databricks Spark.
• Design, Develop and Deploy  multiple linear and nonlinear models for testing, development and  deployment.
• Efficiently apply data mining  methodologies to minimize losses, maximize responses.
• Provide insights and guidance of  third-party data from data mining results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional  teams to ensure the successful delivery of AI solutions. 

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering  experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Data  Scientist
• Master’s degree in highly  quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or  other quantitatively-oriented degree) required.
• Minimum 2 years previous  experience working in financial risk analytics.
• Demonstrated proficiency with  advanced statistical modeling and substantial experience with machine  learning techniques (e.g., Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, LASSO,  Elastic Net, etc). Knowledge of penalized regression and classification  methods a plus.
• Strong SQL data operation &  programming skills, with ability to conduct substantial data munging and  data engineering.
• Proficiency with Python, R, or  SAS; expertise with versioning software (e.g., Power BI or Tableau), big  data solutions and data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop). 
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
